Growing Relationships Across Cultures Network

  VISION STATEMENT

Growing Relationships Across Cultures Network (GraceNet) provides opportunities through support groups and cross-cultural training for individuals from diverse cultures to recognize and respond to cultural differences with insight as they seek to build relationships founded on prayer, hospitality, service, and sharing.

  GRACENET

In this world of transition, GraceNet serves as a network of gatherings and relationships, where individuals around the world intersect. Started in 1998, this movement provides a forum where those from diverse experiences pray, study the Word, and share experiences while building relationships for service and support. Most of the membership are involved in some form of a cross-cultural relationship. Some may have previously lived in another culture, others have spouses from a different culture, or other relatives with whom they relate cross-culturally.

From the original group which began meeting in Richmond, Virginia, individuals now can be found in places such as California, New York, Thailand, Canada, Indonesia, India, and the Philippines. Recognizing that each transition comes with unique adjustments, GraceNet provides opportunities for connecting with others who have similar cross-cultural experiences.

  GRACE CROSS TRAINING

Growing Relationships Across Cultures (GRACE) Cross Training is an interactive program designed for those who desire to effectively build relationships for sharing cross-culturally. The evidence that globalization has arrived can be experienced by a routine Sunday afternoon trip to the nearest super center which is quite often a cross-cultural experience.  Whether that be interacting with the cashier or locating items such as dhal, sushi, basmati rice, fish sauce, or maize. The need for our actions to demonstrate agape (God's love) is greater than ever before. GRACE Cross Training is crafted to include a variety of experiences to engage participants in the learning process.
